Jump Start Wings
Late
in 2002, New GlaStar offered a good deal on an exchange jump start wings option,
so I decided to take advantage of it. I crated up my inventory of wing
parts and and sent them back to New GlaStar, they built my Wings, Flaps, and
Ailerons and shipped them to me. Below are pictures and descriptions of
the process. I received the jump start wing kit in May of 2003.

All of the wing, aileron, and flap parts were fitted into this crate. The wing spars were crated seperately. I use my S-10 pickup to haul them. |

To pickup the kit, I rented a truck at Home Depot for $20.00 the first hour and $5.00 for each 15 minute period over that. |

This will be the wing jig that I will use to close the wings. |

Two jack post were bolted to the floor to create the wing jig. |

The second wing is stored on top of the jig. The ailerons and flaps are stored on the wall. |
